Our Mission
The mission of the MC Warriors is to provide young people with an opportunity to participate in youth sports in a safe environment that is founded on a Christian culture. The MC Warriors are not legally affiliated with Modesto Christian Schools, Inc. The MC Warriors and Modesto Christian Schools, Inc are separate organizations that share common values and goals.
Who Can Play?
The Modesto Christian Warriors Football and Cheer Program is open to all Modesto Area children 5 years to 14 years old. Though we practice on the Modesto Christian School Campus, players do not have to attend Modesto Christian to be a Warrior.
When Does The Season Start?
MC Warriors regular season begins each year in July. MC Warriors play a ten game regular season against local teams. The top teams in the all divisions move on to playoffs and a Super Bowl. Football game play will be completed in October or November depending on post season. All levels of cheer will compete in an end-of-year competition in October.
When And Where Are The Practices/Games?
MC Warriors (both football and cheer) practice on the Modesto Christian School Campus located at 5755 Sisk Road in Modesto. Starting in early July, the first few weeks of the preseason, practice is Monday-Friday 6-8 pm. Later in the season after school starts, the practice schedule will change to Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6-8pm. Our home games are played on Roy Blakeley Field at Modesto Christian High School. Away games are played at various local locations in Modesto and Stockton. There may be one or two games where further travel to Sacramento may be necessary. Kickoff times vary week to week. A concerted effort is made to make all games on Saturdays. If Sunday games happen, accommodations will be made to allow for church attendance. Players are required to be at the game 90-120 minutes prior to game time.
